Mahouts on Elephant. 4000 years - A way of life worth keeping

This is a short film made in 2008/9 when I lived near the Elephant Kraal in Ayutthaya. It shows the early morning life at the kraal with the mahouts and elephants and is just a gentle record of the everyday.

This year in October 2011 the Kraal experienced along with all of central Thailand the worst floods in living memory. The elephants and mahouts were displaced and camping for over 3 months. They are in need of help to get them back to normal.
